Abacus
The abacus, a 2,000-year-old Chinese mechanical calculator, gave Asians their reputation for being good at math. In the past 25 years, it has been recognized as a great method to develop children's brain function as well.

Most children start well with Math in Kindergarten and First Grade, then many start falling back or even hating math as they move up the grades. The main reason is the present disregard for the mastery of basic calculation skills, which traditionally consisted of memorization of addition and multiplication facts.

By learning mental abacus as early as 3 years of age, children can now juggle math facts in seconds before First Grade.
